Skill for Life
The IAM Skill for Life package costs just £139. There is also an option to pay in two instalments with the addition of a small administration fee.
The package contains everything you need to pass the IAM Advanced Driving Test and become a full member of the IAM and an advanced motorist:
- The IAM book "How to be an Advanced Driver"
- Advanced Driving, the IAM members' glossy magazine issued three times a year
- An initial driving assessment undertaken by Alnwick & Northumberland Advanced Motorists
- All necessary preparation to get you up to test standard
- The IAM Advanced Driving Test fee
- IAM Associate status, upgraded to full membership of the IAM on passing the test within 12 months of joining
- Associate membership of Alnwick & Northumberland Advanced Motorists
- Better Driving, the Alnwick & Northumberland Advanced Motorists' newsletter issued quarterly, with local group information, events, etc
- Access to a special members' area of the IAM website containing details of members' events, membership services, special offers, etc
- An allocated observer to help you to prepare for the IAM Advanced Driving Test
