What else do I need?
We recommend that all candidates should familiarise themselves with the contents of the Highway Code and "Know your Traffic Signs" as well as the IAM publication "How to be an Advanced Driver" (provided as part of the Skill for Life package). Our observers also use "Roadcraft" the police driver's manual. The group has copies of the "Roadcraft" DVD which can be loaned to candidates.
